I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with Dr. Sonny Shaddix for the past 20 years and consider him more than a colleague… he’s a trusted friend. So when the time came for my partner to take her maternity leave, he was the only one I wanted to take her place. Our first encounter with Dr. Shaddix was when he came to the office to observe, meet the team, and learn how we operated so he could fit in and have a smooth day when he was scheduled. To me it says a lot about someone when they take the initiative to prepare ahead of time. When I was out of town, I did not get any urgent phone calls or texts. After I returned, the team had great positive feedback, and several patients had their treatment taken care of the same day. The only concern I have about Dr. Shaddix is I think my team might now like him more than me.

I am so happy with my decision to use Dr. Shaddix to cover my office during my maternity leave. Leaving your office and patients in the hands of someone else can be a scary thought, but Dr. Shaddix made it so easy. When I went into labor early, he was able to come in the next day so that all my patients didn’t have to be rescheduled. I didn’t have to worry about anything while I was gone. He treated my staff well, took good care of my patients and didn’t even need to call me once while I was at home trying to care for my newborn. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for coverage in the future.
