Meet Your Dental Team
 Dr. J. W. "Sonny" Shaddix grew up in East Texas, graduated from the University of Tennessee Dental College, served two years with the U.S. Navy, and then began a private practice in Garland over thirty years ago. Married with four children and eight grandchildren, his life is busy with many family related activities, as well as being a high school varsity basketball referee for over twenty years. He has donated his time for seven years at Mission East Dallas dental clinic, and occasionally plays a little golf.
Over the years Dr. Shaddix has attended hundreds of hours of advanced continuing education courses and utilizes that information to keep his quality practice up to date with the latest in equipment and materials and modern techniques. His philosophy is to place a heavy emphasis on prevention and the option for patients to choose the type of treatment that best fits their needs and goals.
